The ZB2 features three physical buttons and supports single-press, double-press, and press-and-hold actions, enabling up to nine customizable commands. Users can configure routines such as “Good Night,” “Movie Mode,” or “Leave Home” to control multiple connected devices at once.
The Smart Button ZB2 requires no wiring and can be placed on a bedside table, near a front door, or in a shared living space. Its direct physical interface is intended to make frequently used routines accessible to everyone in the household, including people who may not regularly use mobile apps.
Built on the Zigbee 3.0 standard, the ZB2 is currently compatible with Home Assistant through ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT, making it particularly suitable for users who prefer local control and customizable automation.
The device is powered by a built-in battery that recharges through micro-USB, providing an alternative to disposable batteries.
A button near the door can turn off connected devices when users leave, while one beside the bed can adjust lighting or start a nighttime routine. These direct interactions are designed to make smart home control faster and more consistent.
